The Grey Squirrel
(Sciurus carolinensis)
is NOT to be confused with the Red Squirrel

There are various pieces of legislation surrounding Squirrels

The Red Squirrel is protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981

The Grey Squirrel is not a native to the UK

Legally, captive Grey Squirrels are not be
released into the wild
Also;
The Animal Welfare Act 2006:
Requires all captive animals to be treated humanely

The Grey Squirrel is often encouraged into British gardens, but many will consider it a problem pest damaging crops, taking fruit,
stripping bark, taking birds eggs,
and causing untold damage in loft spaces gnawing on electrical wiring, insulation, and wood.

Our control methods are highly effective;
using only UK approved methods of control,
Live Trapping, Baiting, etc etc
